Blooming Daphne

Today is a big day--my daphne finally is blooming! Its fragrance is intoxicating, smells a bit like freesia--which is not a pure sweet as jasmine sambac, but mixed with a touch of spice so it's very refreshing. No wonder I have seen bees all the time today in my little courtyard.

I killed two daphne plants in the summer of 2023 due to my ignorance. The third time is a charm.
