Lesser Snow Day

Last night, the wind knocked over my bamboo trellis and broke one chrysanthemum branch--a good excuse for me to finally have these beautiful flowers in my vase.

I guess I am too stingy--I have many vases, but always leave them empty. I prefer to watch the live flowers on the plants; if I cut them off, their life will be shortened. But when I started the garden, my plan was that all year round I could pick my own flowers and set the blooming vases everywhere. 

Life is a dilemma 😂
