Dialogue between my husband and me on the porch:

"Do you think our garden really looks good? Perhaps one of the best gardens in this neighborhood?"

"Yes, of course."

"How can you be so sure? Shouldn't everyone love his own's." 

"Don't you notice when people pass by, they always stare at our house? Some of them even stopped and gave me their compliments on our garden. That tells us something." Michael sounds very proud while looking over the garden.
