Geese Swam By

A gaggle of geese swam by the stream near my house. Our neighbor told us that they were Canada geese. If so, were they on their way to their hometown for summer vacation? After this stream there would be a pond; then a swamp. Once they crossed all these, they would be in the Ocean. From there heading toward north, by either flying or swimming, they should be able to find their hometown.

I couldn't help envying them.
