The First Bloom In My Garden

Last Fall I planted over two hundred bulbs, this one might not be the first one to sprout, but it is definitely the first one to bloom.

It is so brave! All its siblings and cousins are still trying to test the season and grow out, it blooms already, regardless of rain, chill, gale, and possible snow, to greet the coming spring and to cheer my lonesome garden.

Snowdrop is its lovely name.
