A Cold Day

Today is a super cold day, 6-19 F degree, and feels like minus 5 F.

When I get up in the morning, I find that all the windowpanes are covered with a thin coating of ice which makes them look like stain glass.

I worry about my budding camellias, my gardenias, and my peonies. Looking at them shaking miserably against the gusts of wind in my sunlit little garden, I feel so bad. Will they survive?
