Lotus Leaf Chicken
Since we bought a small two pounds chicken from Plainsboro, last Thursday I decided to cook a dish of lotus leaf chicken pairing with vegetable rice (kielbasa, parsnip, carrot, and hot pepper).
Clean the chicken, stuff it with some rosemary, thyme leaves as well as one shiitake, wrap it in the lotus leaf, then steam it for one hour. That's it!
Ps: When serve this dish, pull the chicken apart, eat it with ginger sauce (chopped ginger, aged brown vinegar, soy sauce).
